In partnership with Jobs Australia, the Social Policy Institute at the Crawford School of the ANU runs a series of workshops exploring major social policy concerns. The workshops bring together academics, researchers, senior public servants and others from the policy community.

This workshop will focus on the effectiveness of policies aimed at increasing the employment rates of single mothers and the impact of changes in the macro-economy. A presentation will be given by Professor Matthew Gray, Director of the ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods, and David Stanton of the Crawford School.

Respondents to the presentation will be Jacqueline Phillips, Policy Director at ACOSS and Emma-Kate McGuirk, Branch Manager, Work and Study Payments Branch, Department of Social Services, with a Q&A session to follow.

This workshop series is in partnership with Jobs Australia and is by invite only.
