Topic title

Australia’s Foreign Investment Regime and the ‘National Interest’ in Comparative International Perspective

Topic description

My doctoral research is an inter-disciplinary exercise that marries law, political philosophy, public policy, and economics in an effort to better understand the concept of the ‘national interest’ as it operates in Australia’s foreign investment regime. My work also seeks to place Australia’s regime in comparative international perspective by examining other approaches to reviewing inbound foreign investment.
